Would You Dig Your Phone Out of a Toilet?

Question of the day! One of my friends called from the road yesterday with a dilemma, they had just dropped their iPhone 5 into a toilet at the rest area! Would you fish it out?

After talking about the cons about fishing it out:

1. The toilet was FILTHY
2. They didn't have anything in their vehicle to lift it out with except their hand
3. It may not even work now.

And the pros of fishing it out:

1. You don't want to have to pay for another iPhone5
2. You'll loose all your info (unless you backed it up somewhere)
3. Refer to #1

He decided to fish it out! Now I've done this before, but it was my toilet and your dang right I fished it out!! But we're talking a public toilet here, you don't know the half of what goes into those things and pry don't wanna know!

I have to admit that I would have pry left the phone there and claimed the insurance on it, I mean how would you disinfect it after something like that?! I would however save the little froggy above!
