Why Do You Tape Over Your Webcam

This girl next to me in the waiting room yesterday had a piece of tape over her laptop webcam. What do you think she's doing that she's afraid people might see?

I know a-lot of people are worried about their laptop webcam being hacked into by evil forces, but it seems to me if you weren't doing anything illegal or dancing around the computer naked, the average person pry doesn't have much that criminals want to see.

It would be pretty dull viewing if someone hacked into the webcam on my laptop, except for the random times my son decides it's his piano and mommies documents get erased.

I know it's just speculation but what do you think this gal was up to that she didn't want people to see?
