The drive-in theatre movie season is about to begin.

For decades, Western Colorado families have been making memories at the Tru Vu Drive-In in Delta. There's just nothing like loading up the mini-van and taking in a double-feature complete with a ton of popcorn and soda.

They may have been uncertain about the future of the Tru Vu last spring when owner Jeanne Dewsnup passed away. Jeanne had been a part of the Delta community for so long, it felt like we had lost a member of our own family.

While Jeanne will be missed, the good news is the Tru Vu will continue to provide great family fun every weekend just as it has for all these years.

Although we don't know what movies will be showing, we can tell you the Tru Vu will open for the season at sunset on April 10. It's $8.50 a person for the double feature and you can just plan to have dinner in the car with hot dogs, nachos, pizza among the yummy treats at the concession stand.
