What Should the Legal Age Be – POLL

New York City just raised the legal age to buy cigarettes to 21, what do you think the legal age should be for alcohol, driving and smoking? Take our poll!

People have a wide range of opinions when it comes to these matters and with NYC deciding to raise their legal age to buy cigarettes we thought we'd see what YOU think!

Here's some of the feedback I got from friends:

-Lindsay says,

21 seems reasonable to me. Cigarettes are just as harmful as alcohol, so there really is no reason that they should be available earlier.

Jerry said,

Honestly, I don’t think there should be any age restrictions. It’s up to the parents to guide their children into making good choices, not the government. It’s time for them to stay out of our way.

-Ross told us,

I would say 16. If you are old enough, and responsible enough to drive a car than you should be able to enjoy a smoke legally.
