It came from outer space.

You may have seen the 1950s movie by that name, or read the book, or listened to the album. Our fascination with the extra-terrestrial has been well chronicled in countless Hollywood over the last 100 years. Most don't seem very realistic, but, at the very least it makes us think about and consider the possibility of the existence of intelligent life in outer space.

Recently, there was a photo taken over Clifton that got some folks thinking it could be a UFO. I'm usually pretty skeptical when it comes to these things, but, still, I'm pretty intrigued when it comes to UFOs. I've never actually encountered one, but I'm always on the lookout.

I posed the question on Facebook, 'Do you believe there is intelligent life in outer space?" and I got some pretty interesting responses. Of course, many of the answers are on the humorous side while others were a bit more thoughtful.

Some folks like Evan took a more serious approach in their response. He makes a valid point.

And then there were those who straight out believe there are intelligent beings in the outer world.

The fact is, we don't really know for sure what's out there. And, it's likely that whatever our expectations might be could be extremely different from reality. We may be expecting to see tiny green men in spacesuits, when in reality they may already be here wearing three-piece suits, ties, and Rolex watches.
