In Denver on Saturday, thousands of peaceful protesters lay on the ground and chanted "I can't breathe."

According to a video posted by the Colorado Times Reporter, protesters lay facedown with their hands behind their back over the weekend. This was meant to symbolize how the late George Floyd was pinned down by ex-officer Derek Chauvin, begging for air for nearly nine minutes while Chauvin kept his knee on Floyd's neck.
