Colorado Resident Drives Through Grizzly Creek Fire
Denver Resident Lauri Keener posted a video on Facebook that gives us a unique view on the massive wildfire burning east of Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
The Grizzly Creek Fire is 3,702 acres in size and 0% contained according to The Denver Channel Tuesday. The fire continues to burn out of control causing officials to close I-70 after the fire jumped I-70 and the Colorado River.
However, before the fire jumped I-70 causing officials to close the highway Nathan Krause was one of the last people to drive on it and left us with an incredible video, shared by Lauri Keener on Facebook.
The Post Independent is reporting that evacuations have been ordered on the Eagle County side of the fire. Evacuations and closures include Cottonwood Pass, the Coulter Creek area, and the No Name High Aspen Ranch.
The National Weather Service has issued red flag warnings again for the Western Slope and Glenwood Springs.
