If you're a pet owner you know how excited your dog gets when you come home, now multiply that by infinity.

You hear about heart touching stories like this all the time, dogs and their owners being reunited after longs periods of separation but this one has a patriotic touch.

Jasmine the St. Bernard’s owner was one of those amazing Americans that serve their country as a soldier.

This led to a long awaited return with Jasmine expecting him home any minute, bolting to the door at any unexpected noise, only to let out heartbreaking whines once she realized it wasn’t her owner.

Thankfully her soldier was able to return home to her smothering  kisses.
