Vail Announces Free Concerts For Closing Weekend
Growing up in Eagle, one of my favorite things to attend each year was Vail's closing weekend festival, Spring Back to Vail. So, you can imagine how excited I was to learn that this year's lineup will feature Dispatch, SOJA, St. Paul and the Broken Bones and Counting Crows.
Spring Back to Vail will kick off April 9th and wrap up the festivities on the 12th, and like every year, everything is free.
In the past, Spring Back to Vail has featured musical acts such as Portugal the Man, Cracker, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood, and Elephant Revival, just to name a few. However, while the concerts have historically taken place in a sort of block party atmosphere in Vail Villiage, this year the shows will be at Ford Park.
In addition to the concerts, Spring Back to Vail features other fun things to do such as block parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, a silent disco and a Bud Light Seltzer after-party at Dobson Ice Arena following the music on Saturday.
While the two and a half-hour drive may not sound like the most attractive thing, there are other options as far as transportation to Vail goes, including the Bustang.
