UPDATE: Police Confirm Body Is Jessica

Police confirmed  Friday afternoon the body that was found on Wednesday is in fact that  of 10 year old Jessica Ridgeway .

Jessica Ridgeway has been missing from the Westminster area of Colorado since Friday October 5th and volunteers have been tirelessly searching for the missing 10-year-old.
"Our focus has changed from a search for Jessica to a mission for justice for Jessica," says Westminster Police Chief Lee Birk. "There is a predator at large in our community. We are doing everything in out power to apprehend that predator," BIrk says.

Workers picking up trash found her body Wednesday afternoon. The body was identified using DNA tests.
