Texas Woman Abandons 2-Year-Old on Doorstep

A woman in Texas was caught on video abandoning a two-year-old boy on a doorstep.

It all happened near Houston, Texas around 8 p.m. Wednesday night.

In the video, you can see a woman escort the boy to the doorstep, ring the doorbell and knock on the door. Then she takes off, gets in her car and leaves.

The owner of the home answered the door only to find the child standing there alone.

The child was in good health and was taken in by Child Protective Services until they could contact a family member.

The police are still searching for the woman, who they believe to be in her 20s or 30s. They did find the boy's father after tips came in from a local news station.
