Update on Grand Junction City Services During Pandemic
The City of Grand Junction has done a tremendous job of communicating information regarding any changes to city services just as soon as changes are made.

As of now, there are no changes to the services provided by our Police and Fire Departments. Local law enforcement is encouraging all residents to use online tools to report crimes that do not involve a threat to life or an immediate threat to property. Both departments are responding to calls like normal.
If you're planning to visit a City facility you're encouraged to call and make an appointment in advance of your arrival.
- The customer service windows at City Hall remain open at this time. However, the City encourages residents to conduct business by phone, online, or at a dropbox location. Drop boxes can be found at City Market, Safeway, the 5th Street Alpine Bank and the south side of City Hall. Utility bills can be paid by phone by calling (970) 255-2323.
- The Community Development Department encourages people to conduct their planning and permitting work online or over the phone. Residents may conduct business with the department by appointment by calling (970) 244-1430 or by sending an email to comdev@gjcity.org. A limited number of appointments will be available for those with business needs that cannot be conducted online or over the phone.
- The City Clerk’s Office will allow liquor license renewals to be dropped off at the drop box located on the south side of City Hall.
- The Sales Tax Office will have options to file sales tax returns or complete a sales tax license application:

- Accounts Payable will have the following options for vendors receiving payments from the City:

- All other payments will be mailed by City
