Trading Safely On Craigslist

I have used Craigslist many times. I have bought on Craigslist and I have sold on Craigslist. There were a few times when I was leary especially when I was selling a car at my home and giving my address to a total stranger. Luckily for me, nothing bad happened and I didn't get robbed and they never came back to do any harm. However, this is not always the case. You have heard the stories where people either try to sell something they don't have you go to pick it up and you are robbed or you put something up for sale and someone is interested only to find out they just want to rob you.

Now days meeting in public isn't the best idea, you may want to meet at a [police station to conduct your business or possibly the parking lot of a police station where they have lots of cameras. If you buy or sell on Craigslist try meeting at a safe to trade location.
