This Grand Junction Store is Asking Customers to Wear Masks
Over the past few weeks, we have been overloaded with information about COVID-19 and the Coronavirus pandemic. There is a lot to take in, but one thing we all are being asked to do by Governor Jared Polis is to wear a mask when leaving your home and going to more populated areas.
We did find out earlier this week that you could face huge fines for not wearing a mask in the city of Aspen. Obviously, social distancing practices are still in place but does that mean we have to wear masks here in Grand Junction, no. There are a lot of people doing it to limit their risk but it is not a requirement at this time.
There is one local business that does a fantastic job at customer service that is now asking customers to wear face masks when entering their store and that is the Peachtree True Value store located at 2963 North Avenue in Grand Junction.
I called the store and spoke to a very nice gentleman who told me that while they cannot require customers to wear masks they are still requesting that customers wear their mask if they have one available to them.
As you can see from their post online, they have received a lot of feedback with their request. Some of it being positive and others are negative. One thing is for sure, they are just trying to keep their store as sanitary as possible.
If a store requests that you wear a mask inside, would you stop shopping there?
