These Grand Junction Street Names Should Be Changed Before North Avenue

There are some odd and peculiar street names here in Grand Junction. So, maybe we should change these instead of messing around with North Avenue.

Have you ever wondered why some streets are named what they are? There are obvious ones like Colorado, Main, Gunnison, Grand, Bookcliff and so on. But, what about those that don't seem to make any sense at all?

• Texas Ave (there's a Texas Avenue?)

• Gerken Ct
• Gigax Ln
• Huffer Ln
• Big Bird Ave.
