The Harvest of Icicles Begins to Construct Dillon Ice Castles
The Dillon Ice Castles will return starting in December through 2021. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be safety precautions in place.
A spokesperson for the Dillon Ice Castles told KDVR that the venue will operate at a reduced capacity during the season to promote social distancing.
The tunnels and crawl spaces will be marked as one-way areas to limit personal interactions with other guests. Masks will be required for staff and guests of the Dillon Ice Castles as a requirement from local and state mandates.
Ice artisans will begin harvesting up to 10,000 icicles daily this week to build the ice castles.
