Well, what can I say? Taylor Swift was a great country-music singer and songwriter, she gave us great music and beautiful break-up songs for almost 10 years. Now she's moved on to a newer, younger, sexier suitor. Pop music.

Taylor Swift announced a new album "1989" and released the first single and video for "Shake it Off".

It's very apparent that our little country sweetheart is all grown up and has found a whole new world and identity for herself.

We're sad, but we can't blame her, I mean, who can compete with pop music?

Taylor says her new album reflects her life and she wanted to go in a different direction with a new sound. That she has done successfully.

Get ready to channel your inner 1980s pop-music self. This bubble gum isn't hard to chew, but it is hard to swallow. For those of us that experienced it the first time, it's best to leave it there.

For many of Taylor's fans who weren't born in the 80s (Taylor herself wasn't born until 1989) this will be their "oh Mickey, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey". Thanks Tony Basil

Let's face it. Taylor's music has always been a little on the "pop" side anyway.
