The man responsible for a string of local robberies in Delta, Grand Junction and Clifton is dead.

A stolen Tahoe out of Clifton led officials to the town of Parker, Colo. over the weekend. They believed that the vehicle may have had something to do the man involved in what is being called the "fast food robberies." It turns out, they were right.

Police in Parker (just outside of Denver) were called to the Trailside Apartment complex Saturday night. The suspect, Michael Marin, was reportedly knocking on doors. When the officers arrived they noticed the stolen Tahoe. A confrontation began and gunshots were exchanged. Marin was hit and taken to the hospital.
