We already suspected there was a sharp divide when it comes to the coming COVID vaccination and the results of our informal survey show it's really true.

While the COVID vaccination isn't likely to be available to the general public for many weeks or even months, it is definitely something people are thinking about right now. Should I get it? Should I wait? Should my kids get it? Is it safe? What if they try to force me to get it?  Will there be damaging side effects?

People already seem to have strong feelings about the vaccine - on both sides. Some people are angry because everybody doesn't want to get it, and some people are angry that we are even talking about a COVID vaccine.

I was curious to know how western Colorado residents felt about the vaccine and so I asked the question "Will you get the COVID vaccination when it becomes available?"

The results were evenly split between those who said yes, those who said no, and those who are still undecided.
YES - 33%
NO -  33%
NOT SURE - 33%

There doesn't seem to be a big rush to make a decision on whether or not to accept the vaccine, but the day is certainly drawing closer when we all are going to have to decide. I don't believe there is a right or wrong answer. Each one of us has to make the decision that is best for us and for our family.

If you missed out on the previous poll, feel free to answer the question below, and I'll update the results in a future post. It will be interesting to see how it all shapes up as we learn more about the coming vaccine and as we get closer to its availability.
