During a routine patrol last Saturday night, Rain City Superhero Movement leader Phoenix Jones came upon a man whose throat had been cut. Phoenix attended to the man until paramedics arrived. One would think the man would be grateful to Phoenix for saving his life. Strangely, the man thanked Phoenix Jones by using some not so nice words.

Phoenix Jones frequently patrols the Seattle area on a quest to assist his fellow citizens. Phoenix reports on his Facebook page, "I was walking alone on Saturday, when I heard an argument escalate into a fight. I started running towards the fight and one man fell to the ground. As I approaced him I saw his throat had been cut." Phoenix adds, "I applied pressure to the wound till medics arrived."

Whereas one would think the man would be thankful that a total stranger would rush to his aid, the reality couldn't be more opposite. According to Phoenix Jones, while the man was being loaded into the ambulance, he turned to Phoenix and made the unflattering statement.

As you can imagine, Phoenix Jones is hurt and offended by the man's attitude. He says, "It's funny... I have dedicated my life to saving people and the cops don't like me, even some people don't like me... other superheroes don't like me." He adds, "Even some people I save don't like me. I have made a lot of enemies, I fear there is nothing I can do to prevent them from retaliating."

Phoenix Jones supporters have been chiming in, offering support and encouragement to their masked hero.
