St. Baldrick’s Grand Junction End of Winter Event

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a charity that funds childhood cancer research. It has raised more funds for childhood cancer research than any other organization besides the U.S. government.

This Saturday, March 19 will be the preliminary shaving event. The Winter shave of heads and beards will take place at Powderhorn Resort from 2-4pm. There will be food, music, drinks, prizes, and more.

This pre-fundraiser for the main event in June was specially created for Powderhorn fans to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and the end of winter, while participating in a great cause. You can register with Team PaddyHorn for the event this weekend.

Friends and family can donate specifically to "you" for your shaving. You will be given a personal fundraising website once you register with Team Paddyhorn and if you raise $50+ for your head or facial hair getting shaved, you will receive a St. Baldrick's T-shirt.

Anyone is welcome to come to the event, to watch friends and family get shaved. Donations are also accepted for those who do not want to participate in the actual shaving part of the event.
