Social Distance Doesn’t Mean It’s Time For Vacation
For kids that don't fully understand the Coronavirus Pandemic currently affecting the United States, they are thinking it's an extended Spring Break. But it is almost shocking the number of parents that are thinking the same way. We have a virus that is sweeping the world and some people are willing to expose themselves and their family because they can save a few dollars and school isn't in session right now.
I'm not a parent and I am not a doctor but the CDC has made it pretty simple to understand that people should be distancing themselves from others right now to help curb the spread of the virus.
In fact, the Chief Medical Officer ar Moab Regional Hospital had to remind people to stay at home.
“The best thing we could all do is stay at home,” Dr. Dylan Cole said. “I don’t think this is the time to encourage people to take cross-country road trips.”
While I understand that no one wants to stay in their home for an entire month while as a country we try to get past this pandemic, spreading the virus or potential coming in contact with it while traveling doesn't seem like a good idea.
