It wasn't much, but it stuck on the ground at least for a little while. In case you've forgotten, it's snow. There may be hope for at least a little winter in Grand Junction this year after all.

The Saturday morning rain was a welcome sight, but that rain turned to sleet and snow in the afternoon as temperatures dropped to near freezing. The total amount of precipitation Grand Junction received was only 0.15 inch. Still, something is better than nothing.

The good news, there is hope for more winter weather as the National Weather Service is predicting another round of rain and snow beginning Monday afternoon. Much like this time, it probably won't be enough for you to get out the snow shovel, but who knows? Maybe Mother Nature will surprise us.
