Show Your Love for Western Colorado’s Best Waitstaff
This Sunday we celebrate national "Waitstaff Day." These virtuosos of the culinary arts and customer service are largely responsible for your overall dining enjoyment. Celebrate their special day by voting for your favorite Western Colorado area waitperson.
How does one celebrate "Waitstaff Day"? Simply drop by your favorite restaurant and thank your waiter or waitress. There is, of course, Option B: leave a nice tip.
This practice does not need to be limited to May 21. Upon receiving excellent service at a restaurant, be sure to leave a sizeable tip and give them a "thank you."
Often times, the waitstaff can be the signature feature of a restaurant. Here in Grand Junction, you have restaurants like Lois' Place, Randy's Southside Diner, or Mary's where the members of the waitstaff have worked there for years. They know everybody by name, and everybody knows them. You bump into them around town and it's like running into an old friend.
One should always be thankful for their waitstaff. When Sunday, May 21 rolls around, be a little extra generous with the tip money.
In the meantime, let's find out which locally eatery is home to Western Colorado's best waitstaff. Vote for your favorite. If you don't see it on the list, write it in, and it will be added promptly.
