Here is you question of the day, should the United States ban cigarettes forever? Doctors voted in England to support a campaign to ban cigarettes forever to anyone born after 2000. The belief is that most people start when they are teens so if you take it away fewer people will smoke.

We all know that smoking is bad for you but could this plan work in America? I would say no once people hit 18 how can you tell them they can’t do something that isn’t illegal? I point to the alcohol probation from the 1920’s that didn’t stop the country from drinking and I don’t think banning cigarettes would stop people from smoking.

This could turn into a big black market moneymaker just like alcohol was for the mob in the 1920’s.
