A second arrest has been made in the murder of 3-year-old Bethannie Johnson.

The Grand Junction Police are reporting that 32-year-old Rebekah Joy Wallin has been taken into custody.

This horrific case is almost too unreal. The great crew at KKCO News have a complete story, but we can tell you that the first arrest made was back in March. Bethannie's legal guardian and aunt, Shanna Gossett, was arrested after telling police some of the things that she had done to Bethannie, including locking her in a closet for two weeks and smashing the 3-year-old's head into the wall.

In April, Gosset began to talk to detectives about Wallin's involvement in the death of Bethannie.

I don't even want to reread the details, more or less type them out word by word. Again, KKCO News has more details.

Both Gossett and Wallin face charges of murder, false imprisonment and child abuse.
