Remember Academy Award Winning Actor Visited Grand Junction

A big time celebrity and movie star that visited Grand Junction in 2014 has new movie project in the works.

Jared Leto, actor/musician claimed in 2014, that a Grand Junction restaurant served him the best meal he's ever had.

Leto, who some people know for his music with his band 30 Second To Mars, is probably better known for his accomplished acting. He has tackled roles in such blockbuster films as 'Fight Club', 'The Thin Red Line', 'American Psycho', 'Requiem For A Dream', 'Girl Interrupted', and what I thought was an amazing performance in 'Dallas Buyers Club', co starring Matthew McConaughey.

Scheduled to be released on August 5 of this year is Jared's latest movie project. It's quite the undertaking. He will be battling it out with the likes of Deadshot, Boomerang and El Diablo in the superhero film 'Suicide Squad.' Jared joins the ranks of Jack Nicholson and the late Heath Ledger in actors diving into the dark world and mind  playing the role of The Joker.

n December of that year, Warner Bros. confirmed that Leto would play the role of the Joker in Suicide Squad (2016), an upcoming supervillain film based on the comic book series of the same name.^[99]
