Possible New Business In Grand Junction

This empty lot will be undergoing some redevelopment. What type of business would you like to see come to Grand Junction?

The lot is just down from the intersection of 25 1/2 Road and Patterson. Across the street are several apartment complexes running down 25 1/2.

It may not necessarily be a new business. The area is zoned I-O. But, for the sake of argument, and for this post, let's say it will be a business. What does Grand Junction need? Ask Riley and you'll get 'Dave & Busters' while I have been a big proponent for a 'White Castle.' But, that's just us being a little greedy.

There is some resistance from the people who live across the street.

As you can see in the pictures, there is not a whole around this area. That is probably why the residents in that neighborhood are not thrilled about something new moving in. Increased vehicle traffic, noise, safety concerns for themselves and their children. These are some of the issues being brought up.
