Thursday the Colorado Springs Police Department released body-cam footage that shows the shooting of 19-year-old De'Von Bailey.

The shooting has upset the community because Baily is seen running from the police when he was shot in the back 4 times by Colorado Springs deputies.

The deputy in question stops two teens and tells them that they fit the description of two men reported in the area with a gun. The teens stop and put their hands up. The second deputy approaches Bailey from behind to pat him down. At that point, Bailey begins to run. While running he starts reaching toward his waistband. At that point Colorado Springs Deputies open fire, hitting Bailey four times in the back. Witnesses at the scene say officers immediately began CPR and other life-saving methods.

Colorado Springs Police Department has not made a statement since releasing the body camera footage.
