Amazing Footage of Small Pike Escaping Big Pike

When fishing, catch and release can be a good practice to get into, but I think in this case, the fish disagrees.

Growing up in Western Colorado, I've done more than my fair share of fishing. I normally keep and eat what I catch, providing the fish meets the size requirements.

We don't usually think of fish as predators, sharks yes, but not usually lake fish. Pike are mean and nasty fish, and move rather quickly.

All I can say is that is one scared little fishy literally flying out of the water back on to the shore like that.

Kinda reminds me of Finding Nemo.
