Palisade Police Looking For Gas Station Purse Snatcher
The Palisade Police Department is looking for a gas station purse snatcher and maybe you can help identify this vehicle.
According to Palisade Police, a woman stopped for gas early Thursday evening at a local station, set her purse on a gas pump island and then drove off without it. A few minutes later a dark colored pickup pulled up to the pumps, a man got out, took the purse, and drove off. A short time later the woman was notified that someone tried to use one of her credit cards at a local establishment.
The suspect's pickup is described as being a dark color with a camper shell, a company sign on the side, and towing what looks like a lawn mower.
From the photo, police were unable to see the license plate, or make out the name of the company on the side of the truck.
Take a look at the picture above and see if you can figure out the company name on the side of the truck. If you have any information to offer contact Palisade Police at 242-6707 or your can contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 241-7867.
