Palisade Pizza Lovers Don’t Worry Diorio’s Is Only Closed Temporarily
It's so discouraging when you're working hard all day long looking forward to relaxing after work with your favorite slice of pizza and finding out that it is not available. In the big picture of life, it's not that big of a deal but it can be disappointing. That is what many people in Palisade have experienced this week as Diorio's Pizza and Subs has closed temporarily.
That is the bad news, customers will have to go without their favorite local pizza and sub shop for a few weeks while employees can enjoy some time away from work and relax a bit. The good news is that we know they will be reopening to the public on Monday, June 7th with their normal business hours.
This Shut Down is Common for Diorio's in Palisade
While I was a bit shocked to find out about the two-week shutdown, this isn't new to Diorio's in Palisade. One Palisade resident commented online that they usually take time off around this time. It does make me wonder if we will start seeing two-week periods like this with a restaurant shutting down to let staff rest. We all know there is a shortage of workers right now so this could become the new normal at many businesses.
There is Other Pizza Options in Palisade
While I understand they aren't the Diorio's you're probably craving there are other options for pizza such as Dominos or Papa John's that will deliver to Palisade. But just be patient as it won't be long until your favorite local pizza and sub shop is back open.
