Get ready for Country Jam by attending the 8th Annual Palisade Bluegrass and Roots festival this weekend (June 10-12) along the Colorado River. This outdoor festival will have lots of outdoor activities, perfect for getting that base tan for summer.

The Palisade Bluegrass and Roots (PB&R) festival is taking place at Riverbend Park again this year. The park is located along the Colorado River, on the south edge of town. The PB&R festival starts on Friday at 3 p.m. and runs through Sunday night.

Tickets range from $45.00 to $135.00 for the weekend. There will be lots of live music and other events all weekend. Events include Yoga, Hiking, Farmer's Market, and Creation Stations. Enjoy local wines, foods, vendors, biking, and more.

Music will be provided on three stages. The lineup for the weekend include:

David Grisman Bluegrass Experience, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers, The Lowest Pair, Run Boy Run, The Blackberry Bushes Stringband, Rapidgrass, Caribou Mountain Collective, Running Out of Road, Wood and Wire, Fruition, Jeff Scroggins & Colorado, Destinee and the Sink Creek Band.

All shows are General Admission lawn seating, so bring a chair, tarp or blanket to sit on. Shade tents and umbrellas are allowed towards the rear of the lawn. There will be lots of standing and dancing room closer to the stage.

Make it a fun weekend outdoors on the east end of the Grand Valley this weekend, but don't wear yourself out too much.
