What Does Waylon’s Dad Have in Common With Former President Bush?

During President Bush's recent hospital stay, the Oak Ridge Boys made arrangements to call the former president at his hospital room in order to send him their well wishes. When asked what tunes he would like the Oak Ridge Boys to sing to him over they phone, the President responded with "Elvira" and "Amazing Grace."

As some of you may know, my father, Arlie Jordan, recently suffered a massive heart attack. Earlier today, he received a telephone call from Richard Sterban from the Oak Ridge Boys, giving him words of encouragement and hopes of a fast recovery. This was a particular treat for my dad since he has been a fan of Sterban's remarkable voice.
