You Have to Visit These Notorious Northern Colorado Haunted Houses
Halloween is far away, but that doesn't mean you can't start planning your spooky adventures early.
Northern Colorado is home to tons of fun and scary haunted houses, and when the time comes, you'll want to visit all of them — trust me. Here are four ones to check out this October:
Jack Lantern's Corn Maze | Fort Collins
Jack Lantern's Corn Maze is a family-friendly pumpkin patch in Larimer County, but those looking for an extra scare can visit the haunted Corn Maze of Carnage. Creatures and monsters stalk their victims in the corn, and "the moonlight is your only source of light."
Had a blast! The chainsaw guy at the end was the scariest as he chased us out of the maze, but the hayride and the haunted and the haunted cornmaze [sic] were both awesome. Totally worth it!

Creepy Walk in the Woods | Loveland
Creepy Walk in the Woods offers fright-filled fun in Loveland's Savage Woods. According to the Creepy Walk Facebook page, "you will be going through the woods on a mulch trail, outside, scared, in the dark in Colorado during October."
This place is fantastic! Not your run of the mill corn maze or haunted house. The interactive characters and 'in the woods' scene makes this haunt stand out.

Terror in the Corn | Erie
Terror in the Corn transforms Anderson Farms' fall festivities into a terrifying haunt. The attraction even comes with a backstory — evil, kidnapping twins on the hunt for new victims.
This is my new favorite haunt in Colorado, Perfect theming, great sound, acting, and SCARY!!

Harrington's HAAunted House of Horrors | Loveland
The Harrington Arts Alliance puts on the HAAunted House of Horrors at The Promenade Shops at Centerra. On Halloween, the non-profit hosts a Kids Day for younger fright-seekers.
I've been to MANY haunted houses, this was by far the best one yet! I was genuinely horrified and was "ready" for it to end. Amazing actors and amazing experience.
