New Year's Eve is bringing The Boys of Summer, the Eagles tribute band, to Grand Junction.

The big news this week has been the announcement of the Eagles 2018 tour and their scheduled concert in Denver next year. It's pretty exciting news.  Unfortunately, for many people that excitement is met with the reality that ticket prices are high. We have seen ticket prices ranging from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars. On top of that, you have travel and lodging to deal with.

If you are like a lot of people, those ticket prices are a bit steep for a thin wallet -- not that the show isn't going to be totally amazing and well-worth whatever you may pay for a ticket. But, the fact is, there is a large faction of people, I believe - maybe even a majority- that simply can not afford that kind of money for concert tickets.

Well, the next best thing would be to see a fantastic band doing all the great Eagles' hits - and doing them extremely well. Enter The Boys of Summer. These guys are good - really good- there is no other way to say it. They clearly enjoy what they are doing and that translates to a good time by everyone - which throughout their concerts includes some great opportunities to get on the dance floor.

The Boys of Summer are not strangers to Grand Junction - or New Year's Eve and they are coming back to host a New Year's Eve party at the Doubletree by Hilton in Grand Junction. If you are an Eagles fan and you haven't made plans yet,  you should think about this one.

There is limited ticket availability for this New Year's Eve gig, and this show has sold out in the past. At this point, your ticket purchase includes a one-night stay. It will be a great time, requires very little travel, and provides a place to crash for the night after the party if you need it.

I don't know anything else yet about the New Year's Eve party at the Doubletree, but I wanted to at least give you a heads up that it is happening so you can start making your New Year's Eve plans. It's only a month away.
