Some theaters are moving towards a more upscale experience in food choices. They will still have the standards like popcorn and all that candy, but offering items such as chicken quinoa bowls, lettuce wraps, flatbread and more may bring more people to the movies.

Jennifer Dougalss, vice president of AMC's dine in theaters, states in an interview that the company has evolved and is ready to offer more options to its consumers.

For now, the theaters are in only North Carolina, Ohio and Florida. But, I imagine like anything else, this idea will eventually head west to our area. So, here in Grand Junction and Colorado, what type of 'local' food items would you like to see in movie theaters?
