Colorado does have its fair share of oddly named towns. How do
we compare to the rest of the country?

Can we proclaim the title of the state with the best odd named towns? Let's see what Colorado has to offer:

  • Crook
  • Dinosaur
  • Gunbarrel
  • Hygiene
  • Mumper Corner
  • Parachute
  • Punkin Center
  • Rifle
  • Sawpit
  • Scarface
  • Wondervu

That's not too bad. But how do those stand up to some of these from across the country:

  • Ding Ding, TX
  • Satan's Kingdom, MA
  • Booger Hole, WV
  • Toad Suck, AR
  • Possumneck, MS

Those are pretty good. I'm torn between Booger Hole and Possumneck.

The website esatetly.com has a very good list and a map of what each of the 50 states has to offer in terms of great, but odd named cities and towns.

Did we miss any?
