Mesa County Teen Marijuana Use

The Mesa County Health Department has recently released its findings on teenage marijuana use in Mesa county. You may be shocked at the results.

Should we be surprised by these numbers?

• 52.7 percent of high school students said it would be easy to get pot

• 12.6 percent reported first used marijuana by age of 13

• 21.2 percent of teens have used marijuana in the past 30 days

• 40 percent of teens have used once or more already
