Great Coffee In Mesa Colorado

Mother Nature decided to let up on the 103-degree heat on Sunday, July 24, 2022. So, it seemed wise to take advantage of the cooler weather and head up on the Grand Mesa.

When passing through the town of Mesa, I used to enjoy visiting a little cafe on the corner of State Street and the Grand Mesa Scenic Byway, a.k.a. the main drag through town.

The last few trips through Mesa have found the establishment at 10983 Grand Mesa Scenic Byway closed. While passing by on Sunday, I did a double take upon seeing the "open" sign in front of the business.

Speaking to the clerk on duty, it was learned that Mee Mee MesaRose opened temporarily last year. It closed for a while and recently reopened in full force.

Let me begin by saying their coffee is fantastic. I only ordered a basic "coffee to go" with cream. It was, in my opinion, gourmet quality (assuming that term applies to coffee).

Looking at their menu, depending on the time of day, this business offers a variety of breakfast items and drinks. Later in the day, the menu includes BBQ and adult beverages.

Worth The Drive

Driving to Mesa, Colorado is always fun. It's a relaxing scenic drive complete with creeks and wildlife. Many people in the valley drive up to Mesa to have dinner at the Wagon Wheel. You now have this extra option.
