Have you paid extra attention to Ultraviolet rays this month? Hopefully, you have since May is "Ultraviolet Awareness Month." One question: are we supposed to give extra consideration to a particular bandwidth of electromagnetic radiation or a lower rung superhero?

It's not entirely clear what we are supposed to observe this month. Perhaps we can celebrate them both.

Looking back on 8th-grade science class, Ultraviolet radiation was something we were all supposed to avoid.

After having seen the movie Ultraviolet, it became obvious that was something which should have avoided as well.

So, why are we supposed to be celebrating something we're all supposed to avoid like the plague? In any case, May is "Ultraviolet AWARENESS Month", so let's all be aware.
