Colorado native, Kyle Wester, dreamed of beating the world record for fastest skateboard speed downhill, and he's done just that.

At an undisclosed location -- somewhere in Colorado, that's for sure -- Kyle Wester set out to beat the Guinness World Record for the fastest speed on a skateboard going downhill. The old record was 81.17 miles per hour.

On August 29, 2016, Wester and his crew stopped at this location to make a run at the record. This video shows him flashing by the cameras ending in a record-breaking run. Wester destroyed the record with a speed of 89.41 miles per hour. On a skateboard. A piece of wood with rubber wheels. That's just insane.

Needless to say, he broke the record, but it hasn't been made official by the folks at Guinness.

Nice work, Kyle. Your state is proud of you.
