Q: How long have you lived in Colorado? Where'd you move here from?

A: I've been here since 2013, actually I moved to Leadville originally and lived up there for a little while. But now I've been living in Summit County for the last three years.

Q: Where do you like to train?

A: Copper Mountain for snowboarding, and Frisco, Leadville, and Breckenridge for skateboarding.

Q: When did you start skateboarding? How long have you dreamed about being in the X Games?

A: I started skateboarding when I was five years old and also snowboarding and skiing at a young age.

Q: What's your dog's name, what kind of dog is he? Does your dog like skating?

A: Max aka Dingy, he's a Chiweenie. I actually saved him a few years ago from a pretty abusive lifestyle, and he now gets to travel the world with me. He's been to five countries with me so far. He likes to chase me around the bowl and I snowboard and skateboard with him in my backpack.

Q: Who are some of your favorite skaters?

A: I wanted Tony Hawk land the first 900 at the X Games and it inspired me. Bob Burnquist, all the OGs and there's a ton of new guys on the block that are absolute rippers. Skateboarding is completely changing as a game. I met a ton of huge rippers, I made a ton of friends at the X Games. Everyone loved Dinky and he made a bunch of friends.

Congratulations on your major wins so far Mike, we can't wait to see what else you'll accomplish.
