Judge Sentences Grand Junction Women Guilty Of Murder
Sentencing has been announced for two Grand Junction women charged with the murder of a three-year-old.
Mesa County Judge Brain Flynn handed down the maximum to both Shanna Gossett, 30, and Rebekah Wallin, 32 on Thursday (April 20). Both will serve 48 years in prison for an additional five years of parole.
The two were charged with the murder of three-year-old Bethannie Johnson from an incident that took place on March 17, 2016.
