At the Jordan household, this week's featured movie was the 1980 not-so-classic Olivia Newton-John movie "Xanadu." This movie came up as my Netflix selection for the week, well, kind of by mistake. Funny thing is, it came off as way cool. Does this make one nostalgic, or just slightly disturbed?

I don't care who you are, if you were around in the 80's, then you'll agree, the soundtrack from Electric Light Orchestra is awesome. What's even more impressive, though, is what they did with it. Check out the opening sequence where the muses 'come to life' to ELO's "I'm Alive."

Whoever choreographed this thing deserves their pay for the week. Well done. This single sequence captures everything that was '1980' in a bottle.

Trivia: Check out "Muse #1." She's the one in the violet colored top, the fourth to 'come alive." Do you recognize who she is? That's Sandahl Bergman. You know, Conan's wife Valeria from the movie "Conan The Barbarian." Who knew Conan's wife could dance so well?

If you get a chance, take a look at everything that was cool, or that we at least thought was cool, about the year 1980, with a look back at "Xanadu."
