How To Make A Fool Of Yourself While Visiting Colorado
This is for the out-of-staters that may be planning on coming out and visiting our beautiful state. In fact, I have non Coloradans on their way here this Summer.
Here is a helpful, albeit not complete, list of no-nos for every person that has decided to make the state of Colorado their family destination location. It should be handed out at the border, really.
Feel free to add your own to this list, but let's start with one of the things Colorado is uniquely known for.
- Dude, you can't fire one up in the park
Unfortunately, just like everything else, there are rules to follow. It may read 4:20 on your watch, but the smoking lamp is not lit on every street corner.
- Put the 3.2 back on the shelf. No one wants that water.
- Pack the sunscreen. Yeah, I know, mountains, oooh pretty, but you are also 4,000-10,000 feet closer to the sun now. At least 15 SPF. At least.
Enjoy the rest of this list. Maybe make a game of it. When you have out of state visitors, let them loose and then take bets on which ones on the list they will break first. It's fun!
