It’s Hot! Got a Bucket and a Fan? Make the Poor Man’s Air Conditioner!

It's becoming that time of the year when it's unbearably hot and all you want is a nice cool house to come home to or a nice cool room to sleep in. Running your air conditioner can get expensive or heaven forbid you don't have one at all. Well never fear, we have a do it at home solution for you!

Materials you're gonna need:

• 5 Gallon Bucket
• Styrofoam liner
• PVC pipe
• Small fan
• Ice or frozen jug of water

Essentially it's really easy.

1. Drill 3 holes in bucket a little bigger than your PVC pipe that the air will blow out of.
2. Put Styrofoam liner in bucket and use previously drilled holes as a pattern to drill same sized holes into Styrofoam
3. Place PVC pipe into hole in bucket
4. Cut hole in lid of the bucket just big enough for your fan to set in, facing down into bucket
5. Put jug of frozen water or ice in the bottom of the bucket
6. Turn on fan
7. If you did it correctly, you'll have you very own homemade air conditioner!
