Help Local Law Enforcement raise Money For Special Olympics

The Mesa County Sheriff's deputies will be raising money for Colorado Special Olympics this Saturday at Red Robin. They will be serving you and asking you to 'Tip-a-Cop' to raise money for Special Olympics.

Every year local officers from the Grand Valley get together for a 'Tip-a-Cop' event as a way to raise funds to help out the Special Olympics in Colorado. They will be at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers on Rimrock Drive from noon until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016.

This event is happening at all Red Robin locations in Colorado. The Grand Junction location is the only Red Robin on the Western Slope. The other Red Robin locations in Colorado are all along the I-25 corridor on the front range.

Special Olympics in Colorado hold events throughout the year for those with special needs. The State Summer Games were held at Stocker Stadium in Grand Junction in June. The next event will be Special Olympics Oktoberfest in Denver on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.
