Guitarists who savor the legendary Bakersfield sound made popular by greats like Freddie Hart, Buck Owens, and Merle Haggard, and sustained by enthusiasts like Dwight Yoakum, will truly take note of the  Limited Edition Elitist Dwight Yoakam "Dwight Trash" Casino Outfit from Epiphone.

Dwight Yoakam fans are already excited about the upcoming release of his new album, 3 Pears, his first studio album in seven years, due to be released September 18th from Warner Brothers Records.  For those who want to emulate Dwight's signature sound, Epiphone presents a guitar based on Yoakam's favorite attributes from the Epiphone Casino models, with a few added touches of his own.

The "Dwight Trash" model features a 5-ply laminated Maple body that follows the time honored contours of the  Casino. The Rosewood fingerboard features Yoakam's trademark "Snake Eyes" dice inlay at the 12th fret.  One truly groundbreaking attribute of the "Dwight Trash" model is the headstock. Epiphone and Dwight Yoakam collaborated to give the "Dwight Trash" Casino a Beveled Reverse Firebird™ style headstock.  As a result, the lower strings have a slightly looser tension and the treble strings have a higher tension.  The unique beveled reverse headstock will enable Dwight Yoakam fans to achieve a low, almost baritone quality from the bass strings.

The Limited Edition Elitist Dwight Yoakam "Dwight Trash" Casino Outfit has a suggested retail value of $3,665.00, and is available from authorized Epiphone dealers around the world.  More information and specs available at www.epiphone.com.
