Growing Hemp In Grand Junction

The Colorado Hemp Company held a meeting to discuss growing Hemp in Grand Junction and the surrounding area. There will be another meeting in July called Back To The Slope it will be held Saturday, July 20th Salt Creek Ranch in Collbran, Colorado.

The topics that they will discuss include the uses for growing hemp on your farm and the many ways hemp is used. Hemp is used for food, fuel, building materials, dietary supplements, and many other benefits. 

Apparently many farmers have switched from growing soybeans and corn to growing hemp and is an apparently a very lucrative business.

So far 36 states have legalized hemp, hemp is a strain of cannabis with low THC, meaning it doesn't have enough THC to get you high. If you are thinking about growing hemp they say now is the time to jump on the bandwagon as there are so many uses and is in demand.
